Myrtle Beach Sightings

November 30, 2014-January 5, 2015
                                                    Atlantic Ocean Sunrise
As the tide recedes, it leaves these plant-like etchings in the sand.

                                                                    Sea Urchin

                                                              Sanderlings
                                                Morning walks on the beach.
On this day, low tide left the shoreline carved out.

Willet, one of many of shoreline birds.
                                                             Whelk Shell
                                                       Brown Pelicans in flight.
This brown pelican walked ashore as we were passing by on an evening walk.
                                                            Brown Pelican
                                                      Cannonball Jellyfish
                                                  Double-crested Cormorants

                                                               Great Egret
Skip is enjoying a rest after his beach walk.
This horse was running loose in the campground until I caught him....a bit exciting!

We saw three of these non-venomous red-bellied water snakes when we stopped by this pond.

                                                    Merry Christmas 2014
These brown pelicans were having a feeding frenzy, diving for fish one after the other.
We enjoyed bike rides on the beach.
                                                         Great Blue Heron
Has this brown pelican been writing in the sand?

                                                     Sunset and Sea Oats
