Myrtle Beach State Park

November 30, 2014:  We are staying at this park until January 5, 2015.  We enjoyed our stay here last year.  The park is in a forest located on the beach with many places to hike and bicycle.  Also, we couldn't resist the 50% off "snowbird special".  I know I've never wanted to be called a snowbird, but now we have a tag hanging in the Jeep confirming it.  Time will tell how we like staying in one place this long.  We are already taking daily walks on the beach and exploring the area on our bikes. The temperature range has been mostly 50-70.

Virginia Beach

November 23-29, 2014:  We spent Thanksgiving week visiting my sister's family.  It was a fun and rainy week sharing meals, shopping, worshipping together, taking walks, and bike rides to the beach.

              We stopped at the Dismal Swamp State Park on our way to Virginia Beach.
