Saturday, June 28-Monday June 30, 2014: We readied the coach for the drive to Northern California. As we exited the park, we knew the engine was malfunctioning so we pulled back in and returned to our site. We were thankful to be in a comfortable safe place. Arrangements were made with Mercedes to tow the motorhome on Monday, 232 miles to Medford, Oregon, where there is a Mercedes service dealer. They replaced the ERG valve for the third time. After consulting with Mercedes and Winnebago, they determined that water was causing the valve to fail. They made a few suggested changes that we hope will remedy the problem. It was 108 degrees in Medford. On Thursday, July 3rd, we headed to the Oregon coast and cooler temperatures.
