Gig Harbor, Washington
We arrived in Gig Harbor at the end of June. We have been enjoying time with Ammon's family and Cas and Guy, visiting from Tasmania.

Montana Ghost Town
June 26, 2015: We stopped at a campground just off the highway for a one night stay just outside of Missoula, Montana. The new owners had been renovating for two years. It was an extremely hot day. After settling into our campsite, we decided to explore. We drove the Jeep to a nearby ghost town.

Yellowstone National Park
June 17-21, 21015: We traveled from Buffalo, Wyoming to Cody, Wyoming, where we spent one night before driving to Yellowstone via the East Entrance. The drive out of Buffalo was a steep climb to almost 10,000 feet. Our destination was Fishing Bridge Campground in Yellowstone. It is the one campground inside the park with full hook ups for the motorhome. Our route took us over Sylvan Pass, almost 9,000 feet elevation. We spent our time exploring the northwest park of the park. As the pictures will show we saw many wonders, but the pictures are just a peek at God's majestic creation. How great is our God! When we left the park we took an unplanned detour.

We were able to pull over and watch this buffalo wallowing.
We sighted bighorn sheep several times, including a couple that ran down the road in front of us.

Time to leave Yellowstone. Oops! Detour to Billings, Montana, to the Mercedes dealer.
Could you explain to me why my motorhome keeps breaking down? Nobody seems to know.
We took a short hike to this river to watch the cutthroat trout swimming upstream to spawn.
Arriving in Billings, Montana: First, the park service tow truck towed the motorhome out of the park. A tow truck then took the motorhome to Cody, where this tow truck picked it up for the remainder of the journey. Mercedes replaced the EGR valve again and found nothing else wrong. Strike five!
